• What is SSGS uniform policy?

  SSGS is strict about its rules and regulations and we request all the students to abide by the Uniform code as mentioned in the Uniform page!

• What are the school visiting hours?

  (Meeting with any member of the S.S. Global Family shall only be possible only after a prior appointment with the school secretary during the school working hours only) Visiting Hours: 10:00 am to 01:00 pm

• How do I apply for admission?

  To apply for new admissions, the candidate along with the parents needs to visit our school campus and fill out the registration form, which shall be followed by an open examination & Interview. For more details on about the process, please visit our admission page or just give us a call.

• What is the Fee Structure in SSGS?

• Does SSGS conduct an entrance test during admission?

  Required testing depends on the age of the child applying to attend SSGS. Once you have submitted an inquiry form, you will be able to access the Admissions Portal which includes a comprehensive list of all necessary testing and required forms.

• What is the deadline for submitting an application?

  The application form for the admission for the upcoming session must be submitted on or before 30th April. Later this period no more admissions will be accepted.

Daily Operations

How is attendance being tracked?

Staff are expected to monitor student engagement in distance learning in the following ways: by work submitted in Google Classroom, completion of online tasks, and communication during office hours.Staff will maintain a record of all students who have not engaged in distance learning and provide it to the principal for appropriate interventions.

Whom should I contact in case of queries regarding the attendance or any change with respect to timetable?

The classroom teacher should be able to answer your questions. The school receptionist can also give you that information. A calendar is available on the website. Due to weather issues there may be changes to the calendar. Be sure to sign up for our Constant Contact newsletter, our email communication system for up to date information.

Does the school provide bus facility?

Yes the school offers the Bus conveyance facility. Below are the list of routes catered by our Bus service.

Whom should I contact incase if I need any change in the means of conveyance?

For temporary or occasional changes, always write a note or call the school office for your student. Please call before 2:30 p.m. as the end of the day is a very busy time in our school. For permanent changes in bus transportation, please visit the School Administration personally.

SSGS students participate in a range of activities that enhance their physical, social and emotional development.

Is there any Additional Language program for students ?

Yes at SSGS we offer two additional international languages English & German!

At what age do you begin teaching additional languages?

Class IV onwards, we introduce international language as part of course curriculum.

Are there opportunities for parent involvement?

Ideally parents play a very important role in student daily activities. At SSGS, we have a great sense of community with multiple ways for parents to get involved. We will organise annual activities that includes parents too!

How do you prepare students for Secondary School success?

Student Support Services & Health and Safety

What if my student is absent from school?

Please call the school office to report an absence or leave a message at any time. Please state the reason for your absence. If your student is ill, please give specific details as the state requires us to report illness symptoms. If you do not report your student's absence to the office, we will consider the absence unexcused.

What do I do if I have to pick my student up early from school?

To ensure that a child is taken from school only by an authorized person, a note from home must be presented to his/her teacher or office staff or a phone call made to the office before the child is released. When the parent/guardian arrives to pick up their child they will sign the child out and the office staff will call the student down to the office. No one is to leave the school grounds without permission.

My student has medication needs during the day. What do I need to do?

All medications, prescriptions and over the counter (including topical creams, cough drops, Tylenol and other various over the counter drugs) must be authorized by a Physician.

When to keep your student home, or when your student might be sent home?

If your child is ill to the extent that it will be difficult for him or her to participate in the activities of a normal day, it is best to keep your child home. If your child becomes ill while at school or receives an injury that requires further medical attention, you will be notified immediately. As a general rule, if your child has a temperature of 100 degrees or above, we will call for them to go home. We will call regarding the following conditions:

• temperature of 100 degrees F or more
• vomiting or diarrhea
• what appears to be pink eye, with or without drainage
• body rash especially with a fever
• lice, lice eggs, or scabies until treated. We have a nit free policy and ask that you always contact the office
• chronic cough
• injury that needs a medical opinion
